What is the difference between GAP and GAP Factory?
So what is the difference between GAP and GAPfactory? The clothes and shoes here may be slightly different or completely identical. In terms of quality, Factory especially performs well with boots, sneakers, and dress shoes, including for children. And the worst reviews (as a rule) on forums are about T-shirts. They have slightly different fabric quality (more similar to the level of Old Navy). But even they will be a good deal on the official Gap Factory website, considering the level of local discounts. And the quality is still much higher than that of the Turkish and Chinese goods that have flooded Russian store shelves.
You can determine which store an item came from – Gap or Gap Factory – by looking at the label. All outlet products will have three square dots there (or, spelled out directly, the inscription – GAP Factory Store). Products from the main store simply say GAP on the tag.

Features of shopping at GAP
When visiting the official Gap website for the first time, don’t rush to close the welcome window. As in many American stores, a good discount is often offered here upon registration (up to 25%). Enter your e-mail address in the suggested field, and all items that are not currently on any promotion will become a quarter cheaper for you. Later, special offers and store news will be sent to this e-mail, but you can unsubscribe from them. If you are going to keep ordering clothes from GAP, information about such promotions will be very relevant. Sometimes the biggest discounts here last only a couple of days, so you need to catch them in time.
By the way, about discounts. GAP has a lot of them, and they are regular. And the GapFactory online store is absolutely full of them, they run constantly and on all products. Often, to get the discount, you need to enter the code indicated on the website at the end of checkout. Sometimes a more substantial discount replaces the previous one, but often they stack. The address and phone number of one of the two warehouses (Pennsylvania or Delaware) where your goods will be sent before forwarding to Russia. At the same time, it is better to uncheck the box next to Use this address for my billing: billing is the address where your bank card, from which GAP will take payment, is registered.
Enter the billing — which is a rather crucial stage when ordering clothes from GAP. Try entering all your information honestly, and if they refuse to process the purchase, indicate the details from your Pochtoy.com account in the State, City, and ZIP code fields. You should enter your own phone number here — or that of a close person who, if necessary, will be able to confirm the information you entered in the billing. This is how the store protects itself from carders (sellers of stolen bank cards), there is nothing to worry about.
If something is wrong with the billing, customer support from the store may send you an email to confirm the information. Sometimes this works the other way around: buyers, our clients, knowingly enter incorrect information in the billing, and then write a request by email to customer support, explaining the situation and providing the correct details so that the payment can be processed. It is profitable for the store to sell the item, and if they see that you are an honest buyer, they will often process it for you.
